Advanced Construction Of The Great Egyptian Pyramid Detailed In An Ancient Papyrus

They are huge stone structures made from massive rocks that were quarried, transported, and fluted together before the invention of the crane and wheel, and are considered one of the greatest architectural feats in the world.

New evidence has shed light on the architecture of the pyramids. Egyptologists have puzzled over this conundrum for more than a century, but now it appears that one piece of the puzzle may have been solved.

For a long time, archaeologists and scholars believed that the rock used to build the pyramids was quarried from two places: Tura, about 13 kilometers from the base of the pyramids, and Aswan, 533 kilometers away.

Archaeologists have been confused as to how the ancient Egyptians managed to transport rock in this way before the invention of the wheel, as the precise age of the pyramids was revealed.

A recently discovered papyrus scroll, on the other hand, may have provided a simple solution to this age-old mystery.
