The Mystery of the Lost Civilization: Clues to the Legendary Tower of Babel Found in the Bible

According to the theory of evolution, humans have only existed for a short time, less than 10,000 years, modern science is the most advanced. However, more and more archaeologists are finding the remains of many human civilizations millions of years ago, sometimes even more modern and civilized than now. Hopefully this series of articles will help readers have more insight into the history and culture of people that have been lost in the past.
Researchers have successfully deciphered an ancient stone, with the content describing the Biblical tower of Babel in ancient Babylon.

The legend of the tower that “touched heaven” Babel
The Tower of Babel is mentioned in the Book of Genesis at the beginning of the Bible. This tower was built in the city of Babylon.
Initially, people shared a language, so they could easily communicate and understand each other. They decided to join forces to build a tower so tall that the top of it could “touch heaven”.
However, the purpose of building the tower is only to show its own splendor. It was this arrogance that displeased God. Therefore, He confused their language, adding many languages that made it impossible for them to understand each other. Construction of the tower was forced to stop, and people were also dispersed in many parts of the world. This is the reason for the diversity of human languages.
Ancient stone confirming the authenticity of the Tower of Babel? The stone was discovered a century ago, but so far has never been studied or displayed.
This astonishing artifact, dating from the 6th century BC, tells the story of the legendary Babylonian tower, which was once thought to be a work of fiction.
Dr. Andrew George, professor of Babylonology at the University of London (UK) and an expert on ancient Babylon, deciphered the stone and analyzed its contents, including the ziggurat structure [1], a type of hierarchical architecture, next to it is a figure holding a staff.
After translating the inscription, the researchers said that this work was called “The Temple Tower of Babylon”.
The carved text identifies the structure as a Mesopotamian tower, and illustrates the seven levels of the ancient superstructure. It also indicates the identity of the man behind, depicting next to the tower as King Nebuchadnezzar II, who ruled the city-state of Babylon from about 605 BC to 562 BC. He was the longest-reigning king of the Neo-Babylonian empire, and the builder of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The detailed content on the stone slab is as follows:
“From the Upper Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, to the Lower Sea, or the Persian Gulf, a vast land inhabited by countless inhabitants, I command this work to be built.”
More and more archaeologists are finding evidence that the stories in the Bible are real events that happened in history. The story recorded on the ancient stone tablet is one of them. Therefore, Dr. George believes that there is no contradiction between the Bible and science.
“In the 19th century, it was discovered that the Assyrian kings described in the Bible were real, a claim supported by archaeological evidence. Which makes us wonder, how much of the Bible is true?”
Among the biblical descriptions that were later confirmed by archaeological and astronomical evidence, perhaps the most prominent is the discovery of the remains of Noah’s ark in Turkey or the recording of the first image of the celestial world by NASA’s Hubble telescope.
Note:
[1] Ziggurat is an ancient Sumerian building structure of Mesopotamia, the main material for construction being mud-brick. They are considered as Ziggurat Astrologers, also known as pedestals, born on the basis of the cult of hills, the cult of the celestial bodies and the custom of viewing the stars and stars in the sky. Ziggurat belongs to the type of terraced architecture, one high pedestal is placed on another high pedestal, the higher it is, the more it shrinks, with a sliding slope or perpendicular steps or along the masonry to go to the top. At the top there is a small shrine. Stairs can sometimes go up from the right and left of the masonry, there are also spiral stairs.
